Rich in flora and fauna with an extraordinary variety of trees: Pistachio Trees "Αγραμυθιές" oak trees, olive- trees, fig trees, almond trees and at least 30 species of wild birds and a variety of endemic birds. The unique active volcano with the bigger (330x 260 m. and 30 m. high) and best- preserved hydrothermal crater the "Stefanos" and others such as: the "small Stefanos", the "Logothetis", the small and big "Polivotis".
