The festivals held all year long are the following:

 On Tuesday after Easter is held the festival in the Monastery of Panaghia Evangelistra.

 On the 20th and 21st of June the memory of Saint Nikitas, who has the protector of the island, is celebrated along with the procession of the icon in Mandraki.

 On the 30th of June there is a festival celebrating the memory of the Saint Apostles in the village Palloi.

 On the 27th of July there is a festival celebrating the memory of Saint Panteleimonas in Avlaki.

 On the 14-15th of August the organization of the festival by the Monastery of Panaghia Spiliani in Mandraki, attracting people from the whole Dodecanese, constitutes the most important event held in Nisyros.

 The night of the 15th of August another festival is held in the Monastery of Panaghia Kyra in the place bearing the same name.

 On the 23rd of August a festival is held in the Monastery of Panaghia celebrating the nine days from the Presentation (Eisodeia) of the Holy Virgin in the Temple.

 On the 14th of September a festival is held in the Monastery of the Holy Cross near the village Nikeia.

 On the 26th of September a festival is held in the Monastery located in the village Nikeia for the celebration of the memory of Saint Jean the Theologue.

 On the 8th of November, in the village Eboreios, a festival is held for the celebration of the Archangel Michael.

 On the 22nd of November, in the village Nikeia, a festival is held for the celebration of the Presentation (Eisodeia) of the Holy Virgin in the Temple.
